Ranking the teams:

1. Employment - Possibly the best team. Very understanding partners, structured teams, great quality work. No complaints. They have had negligible attrition in the last few years because of how well functioning the team is. 2. GC under Reeba is also good - most partners are good and reasonable to work under. Try asking about each partner before applying. Great work. You won't have a bad time for sure. Not many PAs might be a put off and create problems for sure. Some politics between associates is also something to be mindful about.

3. TMT/capital markets/public M&A - great work but insanely high expectations. Long hours. Some demanding partners might spoil the experience. Take this if you have a particular interest in the field.

4. Disputes - a couple of odd nuts make this an avoidable team. They can be heard screaming at their juniors from another wing of the office. They're extremely moody and toxic. Take this only if you have a keen interest in disputes and can deal with some of the most frustrating seniors. Partners are fine though. Might not learn much but you'll survive.

5. Banking and finance/Real estate - just avoid it. Don't even think about it and run far away from both teams.
My take on CAM B’lore real estate team is that they are equipped with exceptional lawyers and good leaders, forming an impressive team. Their expertise and dedication foster an environment of stability and growth, evident through the remarkably low attrition rate. It's undeniably the ideal team for aspiring real estate lawyers to thrive in a Tier 1 firm.
Everyone knows how bad the exodus at CAM has gotten. If you want to put out out a post for recruitment, LI is a great place but problem on LI many are aware that CAM has major workplace issues and team toxicities.Great forum for advertising vacancies but unrealistic CAM praise sounding like an ad ruins it.
I have heard of their remarkably low attrition rate too. Whenever someone goes to quit, the partners force them not to. If they still persist, the partners start ignoring them so they can't quit.

They barely have time to quit between staying till 1 am, crying, and getting screamed at from their seniors.

If a partners wife is quitting when she's SA and promotable to PA, there's something wrong with the place
