Is the route of lower judicial services to litigation feasible for a first gen lawyer? And have people done this before?
Several people in Delhi have done it.

You will need to network HARD. But keep in mind networking/socially gelling by judicial officers is frowned upon. Your image would suffer. You can only do it well before joining the services and after resigning. Do it for a year or so after resigning, have a steady source of cases, and if you are good (i.e. you can get reliefs), you will succeed.

Many people are unsuccessful in getting reliefs (coz frankly they are not good lawyers nor knowledgeable, they just happen to have cleared a competitive exam by luck) and they only have a mediocre practice even after having been a judge.
Nope, nit agood move.Law firms will order you as a consultant but not hire you.Other Advocates don't want the competition. So its you on your own.Hold onto the Judge position, why you giving it up for litigation?
