I support this move by Biden. Universities should have neither affirmative action nor legacy admission. Every thing should be on the basis of pure merit. In an Indian context, we should abolish both caste quotas and so-called NRI quotas at NLUs.
We should abolish CLAT coaching, get all the privileged students away from their parents and raise them under similar conditions to figure out who actually has 'merit'.
LOL. Most reserved category candidates do go for coaching. Because most reserved candidates in an English exam will inherently fall within the 2% of the country that knows English. They are typically children of government officers or rich farmers. If you are looking for repressed lower castes, CLAT ain’t the place to be looking.
