😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑

Look at the priority of our government! Complete inaction as Manipur burns, Delhi flooded, rising prices, election violence in Bengal, tax evasion by billionaires, rail safety neglected etc. But they get all worked up over a movie and minister Anurag Thakur (of Goli Maro salo ko fame) has told the censor board to now cut the Gita scene! Someone should petition the Supreme Court about it. Like WTF can't the movie be certified 18 and they show the sex scenes ? Ironically, 90% of the country has seen the pirated version online, which is uncensored. The 10% who watch it legally and respect copyright law are being penalised! We stan Christopher Nolan and don't support piracy of his movies, but you are forcing us to watch the pirated version!
People missed the contact honestly. The scene nowhere insults Gita but infact is telling of a bigger context which has been highlighted twice. Some people are really jobless
Stop bringing Modi into this. Congress has the worst track record on free speech. They imposed the Emergency.
I easily found the scene on porn sites. Just googled. It was a camcorded pirated print, but an HD one should be out in no time. The scene is harmless: just a a quick flash of boobs and butt, no p*y or dk.…. The govt is stupid if they think they can stop people from watching it.
This is the height of buffoonery. That scene contextually was very important. The usage of the verse later became more pronounced when there was the trinity blast. These people don’t get it
We also Stan Nolan’s creative liberty. There was nothing offensive about that scene and let the record show that particular scene was very important.
If those clowns down like it , they can choose not to see it. Problem solved
In the case of Oppenheimer the censorship is justified because the rating is U/A and you cannot show nudity in U/A, only A. Most producers themselves prefer U/A with cuts than A without cuts because then 15/16 year olds can come and you get more viewers. It’s simple market economics, which liberals obviously fail to understand in their blind hatred for the government.

Also, if the moderator allows this topic then he must also allow a discussion of the Mamata govt’s ban on The Kerala Story. You can’t selectively allow Modi bashing.
Why is a discussion about censorship an example of Modi bashing? Are the RW finally declaring that Modi tells the board what to do?
