Hi, I am from a T1 NLU. I have severe health issues, and my studies suffered a lot. I tried pulling through and studying, but I am looking at possibly repeating my third year. I have my repeat exams in a week. My CGPA till the 2nd year is 6.2/7.0. I really wanted to pursue an LLM, but if I just pass in my repeat exams, I am afraid I would not be selected. Same for placement in T1 firms. However, if I repeat the year and fix my grades and extracurriculars, I can provide mitigating circumstances as reasons for repeating the year, instead of just passing right now. What would be the better option? Thanks in advance
Don't go for a repeat year. It's mentally taxing... your CGPA is decent so even if u fuck up ur 3rd year, it shouldn't be too bad. Getting accepted for LLM may get more difficult but getting jobs would not be
