Hoping to apply next year, and wanted to understand what exactly do they look for. In the history of my college, we've had at least one student selected every year and there really is no common thread binding them. Some have a really exceptional cv with top five batch ranks and a dozen extra curriculars, others have batch ranks below the top twenty with limited extra curriculars. Finding it hard to understand what will better my chances.
