I am an A2 in a competition law team of a tier 1 firm. Thinking of joining disputes practice of a tier 1 firm. Is that remotely possible? I have heard such a shift happens because competition is litigation heavy, and that experience can count. Can someone clarify if people regularly, or even semi regularly make this career jump?
