This girl is an example of pure merit succeeding. Well done to her. But the tragedy is that India is not a meritocracy, so in the long run she may feel frustrated. In the IAS corruption and incompetence are often rewarded, while merit and honesty are punished. I think she should do a masters abroad and settle there.
