I think if you want to be really good at what you do, and if you’re in this for the long run you should. The learning at boutique/mid-sized/Tier2 firms is immense and you’ll eventually be much ahead than your Tier-1 peers when you switch to those firms.
Pay at botiques after 2 years PQE becomes equivalent to T1 pays
Not all boutique firms pay enough for you to survive in the city. Firms like Regstreet pay peanuts even after years and the last resort for anyone is to move to Tier - 1, if they can to survive.
A firm paying 40k can never be tier 2 (I'm looking at you Samvad)
Tier 1.5 kuch bhi?

Indus is Tier 1. S&R is a boutique for cap. marks. TTA is a Solid Tier 2.
This is like asking do you prefer freedom over slavery? But obviously yes.Don't join Tier 1s like AZB,CAM, SAM and likes. The partners andPA are there to not work and over work everyone else
Suggest me T2 and boutique firms for M&A that can provide assessment.
Yes,in the long run you will be better for having started out at a Tier 2 because Tier 1 will starting using you from day one.At Tier 2 even if you get miniscule baisc learning take it.In the long run you will be glad for it.
Don't take career advice from law students on twitter please
Seems pretty accurate and solid to me. Glad to see SNG, Veritas and Rajani being pointed out; they have been doing great work lately!
