Publications are seen as an essential facet of a good CV. However, the advancements in AI have been immense, and the blowing up of ChatGPT has only increased the number of investments in the domain, giving it a boost and accelerating the process. AI will be way superior in researching and encapsulating nuanced perspectives with a practical expression which, at this point, arguably imo it marginally lacks. I believe the point where AI is way superior to an average person in writing papers is as near as 2-3 years. Will research papers in such age lose the importance they currently hold?
