Many seniors in the Supreme Court are far beyond the reach of an average litigant. A reputed senior charges anywhere between 5 to 15 lakhs an appearance. Despite such high fees, they obviously canโ€™t assure a good hearing. Judges are ready with the matters and come to court after having read a brief. Itโ€™s observed that junior counsels get a far better hearing as compared to seniors. Is it advisable to brief a junior counsel in the Supreme Court if the litigant has monetary limitations? If yes, who are the good and upcoming junior counsels in the Supreme Court?
