I was expecting Faizan Mustafa to join, but it’s likely that there will be a delay so he joined CNLU instead. Anyway, the appointment must be done on merit and like Sudheer Krishnaswamy an NLU grad must be appointed.
In which year was he appointed as a professor? Did he fulfill the ten year criterion back then? As for him being the head of an institution, hell no! ▮▮▮ ▮▮▮ shouldn't be given such positions at all.
Let's hope that TLC VCs/Professors don't apply or are not shortlisted especially from DU.
Have heard that one retired Judge (Maybe NN Mathur) is applying and Faizan Mustafa had already rejected the idea of coming to NLUJ in February itself.
