Indus law isn’t a tier 1 law firm. CMS Indus Law is a tier 2 law firm.

I know, all people who get internships there are by contacts.
Ill surely be caught lol, I literally blurted out everything to some associate last week :(
what's with the Luthra promotion in this thread. As an intern, the firm is on the brink of blasting

Surely not from a tier-1 nlu , who cares about private
Haha, calling other kids entitled when you studied at a private college at your parents’ money?
yall baffling if you think KCO is not a tier one
so many exits from azb, shameek, arvind, roopali, rohit, and few others serving notice period. mass exits at JP level.
You know the term β€˜mergers and acquisitions’ - university of Allahabad doesn’t even teach corporate courses lmao
Oh no,Trilegal is a wannabe Tier 1.There's potential but its not there yet.
Luthra is going to under watch.Till Sahib Luthra was there it was Tier 1 but now one has to wait and watch
CAM dropped out of the Tier 1 league during Covid phase when it withheld salaries while the MP was busy buying luxury flat in Worli.
Wrong.Top tier is SAM,AZB but Trilegal long lost the spot.Currently Trilegal not good enuf to be even Tier 5 anymore not even with the new crop of partners, see the number of dwindling client's that speaks volumes.Tier 2 is right but Luthra is in that bracket too
But as someone who works in T1, I have heard that Luthra has seen a huge jump. Look at their deals, clients, etc. Saraf on the other hand has faded
Tier 3 in most practices, only their work style apparently mirror the magic circle firms (who are also btw considered tier 2 compared to US biglaw internationally)
Luthra and Saraf are on the list only for their fresher pay
LKS? How does that even figure anywhere considering they only have a tax practice?
Dear Client, I work with Trilegal, and unless it's their comp practice, Indus and Trilegal have already been substituted by most clients. Also JSA> KCO after recent hires.
Overall Perception Rankings (not specific to practice areas):

Top 3: AZB, SAM, Trilegal

Next 2 (in top 5): CAM, KCO

Remaining 5 (in top 10): Indus, JSA, Luthra (for now but soon may be replaced by LKS), S&R, Saraf
Cool nlu boss, now prepare snacks and get ready to brief the counsel who did law from Allahabad University.
AZB S/CAM Trilegal Indus are the new Tier 1's.

Maybe DSK Legal, after the merger last year. At least for their litigation division which grew multifold.
Luthra will once again grab the top spot. See the deals they have been doing, thier ranking has once again peaked
You can never disrupt this. But you can dream of it in LI for sure
Cool , now send your nlu boss the reports which you are drafting. It’s getting late and a lot of work has to be done
Why, what's unnecessary about hiring from private colleges if they see merit in their candidacy? You entitled folks want to keep things available only to a certain entitled community. Well, someone has to disrupt this.
Just because Trilegal decided to shop for partners like the were vegetables, that doesn't mean they upgrades to Tier1 or even made good soup. They just got a whole of vegetables.
How much do Indus CM partners make, let's say Lahoty?
Is the JSA management issue even real? I thought it was just some false tea brewing on LI. Apart from the usual management friction, is there really a problem?
Good to know that you have taken KCO out of the equation. Their reputation has taken a hit after hiring tier-3 nlu ppl
And also unnecessarily hiring tier-2/tier 3 nlu and private college people. Because a lot of tier-1 college people are leaving them. That’s a main reason
Induslaw is Tier 1 but Trilegal is no Induslaw nor is it Tier1.
Induslaw is definitely tier 1 now, SAM CAM AZB too unfortunately, maybe L&L, Saraf and JSA are already tier 2 cuz most moved to earlier firms.

I don't know what to call Trilegal, maybe the new Induslaw?
Kco is slowly becoming a tier 2. The partners have gone crazy and have been forcing associates out. Either by firing or creating a hostile work environment. It's a pressure cooker.
