It's just not SAMVAD, AZB recently promoted 7 lawyers to Partnership, out of which 6 are women. 85% of this year's partner hires are women.

This shows,

Women can have it all - Personally and professionally women can have it all. Earlier only men (mostly) used to make partners at big law firms, career ambitious women were punished by the society. Earlier only men were able to "have it all" women had to choose between either personal life or partnership.

The glass ceiling is shattering - law firm partnership is no longer a boys club.
"partner" in AZB is not equity. Usko "senior Partner" bolte he, there are barely any women in equity positions.
Almost 25% of equity partners are women partners which pretty much is the highest in the industry. You cant accuse AZB of discrimination based on sex.
I don't know how you got from the first sentence to the last conclusion "glass ceiling is shattered"

I know several Senior managing partners/ founders at top law firms/ accountancy firms who specifically write off women because "they would leave soon". Also as pointed below, these are salaried partners and not equity positions. Someone replied that 25% equity partners are women. 25%? One Quarter? Why not 50%, we see 75% Associates are female, then why are men specifically voted to partnership, its due to these biases and general prejudice.

Even in an age with top female CEOs who have built unicorns from ruins, men are still sceptical of women bringing in business. They don't see them as front runners. Bas diversity ke naampe 2-3 ko discussions pe bulate hai fir tata bye bye. Well hope this changes.
