I know this might seem like a stupid question to some, but I genuinely do not know how. I am in my final year of a 3-year LLB. Our college doesn't have placements. The only way I can get a job at a good corporate firm is through networking, I've heard. How do I go about this? Especially in LinkedIn, do I just randomly message people working at firms?
A template text to send if you're looking to network on LinkedIn.

"Hello, I hope my message finds you well. I noticed you just started as an associate at so and so firm. I'm interested in so and so field, I was wondering if you could guide me through the process of applying at so and so firm. I'd be really grateful!"

Something along these lines if you just want to know the process on how to apply to a certain firm, you can always try to strike up a conversation about a particular area of law or if they've made a recent post on linkedin.
