The infrastructure of MNLU Nagpur is surely going to be world-class as when the construction work finishes.

NLU Nagpur has the best infrastructure in India.

NLU Nagpur's campus came as a result of a nationwide campus designing competition which was backed by famous infra developers in India.

NLU Nagpur is going to have the best campus infrastructurally among all the NLUs in India.
World infrastructure with third class placements with even worse students and athletic internships. Well this is still the dream. Because now even the world class infrastructure doesnโ€™t exist. It will exist. And other factors which can make a college - lol forget about it. Pleas e donโ€™t paint a rosy picture. MNLU Nagpur is not good and tier-3 at best.
Wait, you don't have enough data points to comment on MNLU's placements. Only two batches have passed out (2021 and 2022) and 2023 is currently is being placed. It's hasty generalization if you run to determine the entire placements scene with only two years' data. Atleast wait for the third year's data to be out and then decide. I believe that this year's placements data will be a pivotal point to understand what's actually happening. Cheers, let's not spread hate against anybody. Let MNLU go through the test of time and then decide.
Again, how do you determine where the placements are going with only two years' data. Let there be atleast enough data points to comment. There are other factors that affect placements too i.e. where the students are interning and what's happening internally (MOUs and tieups etc.). And I believe MNLU is doing fine in these soft factors. These soft factors shall eventually materialize in tangible results. (If you need proofs of soft factors, please check LinkedIn.)

Let's not spread hate, we are a peaceful community.
It's good to see you improving. But let's not influence prospective student with hate speech on a public platform like this one. You leaving MNLU doesn't mean, it's bad. I respect your opinion and decisions but why call it pathetic? Also, it's you who needs to be a tier - 1 candidate not the university you attend. A proactive kid makes his way anywhere. Your decisions are good for you. Attempts to give normative judgements on your decisions is not okay.
If a proactive kid makes their way anywhere, then why waste that much money at MNLU? They should rather go a state law college at a fraction of the cost.
Half of the students who come to MNLUs are already from tier 1-2 cities of Maharashtra for them going to downward marching cllgs like through MH-CET is shit option GLC & ILS makes no sense, Infact the hostel(pvt)+ travel cost of GLC & ILS would easily touch 1.5+Lakh a year , Yes they do have a lot alumni base which would surely help in recruitments but these brands are sailing with a dead captain on board & neither the gov is interested in supporting these cllgs.

Traditional cllgs like GLC & ILS have already reached their potential & won't be able to exhaust much from their brand & repute in near future.

It's better to sail on a ship with clear leadership and government support add on to this the constant support of the regional HC Bar associations & Bench.

Take example The current BJP gov. Muscle hails from Nagpur and they were inherently biased towards developing MNLU-N Rather than Mumbai it's now after 9 years that they have been alloted a campus .

Now coming to why Gov. Support is essential all biggies heavy weight specifically like HNLU & NUSRL lacks gov support and the only NLU with stable government support like that of GNLU hasi flourished like nothing.

Now coming to why the Bar's & Bench's support is required could be understood from the fact that each of the MNLUs in Maharashta have sitting HC Judges in their Executive & General council.

The sitting HC judges at Mumbai bench are still romanticising with the their affiliation with GLC Mumbai they wishes its growth & that's why the significant neglect in even the allotment of land for MNLU mumbai & in total contradiction to MNLU Mumbai Nagpur's Bar & Bench is significantly concerned with the gowth of the uni in Nagpur. It was first the Bar & Bench of Nagpur which proposed the idea of the Uni in Nagpur & eversine then the uni has received constant support from the Bar & Bench for pressurising the gov in needy scenarios for funds & facilities if necessity arises.

I know this all thing doesn't matter from the point of recruitment but yeah this is where I want to put forward the contention that the contribution of your Uni's image in your professional prospects doesn't stop at your first job itself. Your professional growth & trajectory would be equivalent to the growth and repute of the name of the university.

The university has all the basic arsenal which fellow other established young NLUs lack such that of Jabalpur, sonepat,Shimla ,Ranchi and others . It's now on the students of the Uni & it's administration to use it up.

But the baseline growth of your professional career is also somewhat proportional to the growth of your parent uni' repute & image which on which MNLU is considerably working on by each passing year.

Expecting immediate results is impossible task but yeah the future is not grim the potential is huge it's now on the students & administration to exploit the same .
Then students should only start considering it once it is showing results and not before. As of now, the other places that you mentioned are a better bet for money.
GLC and ILS continue to thrive on the people they have. They are exuberant. You see GLC's committees are the best in the state. They easily get more 2X more job offers than their batch size. They have a dedicated placement cell website which will show you the entire placements story at GLC. GLC is almost an equivalent to the Bombay Bar Council. They don't need anything from the government now, their established reputation works wonders for them.

MNLU is not bad but because it's yet to be completely established, there are certain caveats. You'll get jobs at MNLU also but the advancement and pace of your career trajectory will differ from somebody who studies at GLC.

One thing we need to understand is that, HC judges don't control Corporate Law Firms; they're controlled by Partners and Team Heads of the Law Firms, and to shine in their eyes is what every law school wants to do. And a Plus point here is that MNLU Nagpur has worked closely with SAM this year. If their relations develop, things are sure to change for the better.

Also, GLC and ILS are cheaper than attending MNLU. Just check their fees structure.
Please stop providing articles where your โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ is getting exposed more and more. Yes a generous campus has been donated but half of the infra is not even complete. How can you say that itโ€™s good already when you havenโ€™t even used it? Moreover the factors like student quality placements publications or internships are clearly missing from the USP of this college. Even moots. This college should be avoided at all cost. Yโ€™all should from NUALS or Patiala. At least they are still trying.
You mean to say MNLU is stagnant and is not trying. Please check on the website and on LinkedIn, you'll see what you think is missing. Please be sensible while writing.
None of your points lead to a stable secure future for the kids studying at your place. It just justified the collegeโ€™s future fee hike if not anything else.
Okay, let's accept that MIHAN SEZ is no thing which won't bloom with opportunities (MNLU is in proximity to the biggest SEZ in Asia)

Also, Nagpur is not one of the fastest growing cities in the world (which it is, Google it kindly)

You seem to be stereotyped and prejudiced ... these things have no cure ... respect to your kind words and opinions
MNLU is in proximity to MIHAN SEZ

Nagpur is one of the fastest growing cities in the world (Google it)

There are opportunities for the visionary
There are plenty of private and public universities in Mumbai in close proximity to all law firms. The latter still hire primarily from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Jodhpur etc.
No law firm would hire from a pvt uni situated in jodhpur ,Bhopal, Calicut. It's just the name of these biggies NLU tag that gets sold.
Not NLU tag, but the actual reputation of the universities. The point remains that proximity to an employer doesn't mean anything.

This doesn't induce hate for JGLS brothers in us. You should also see that we're younger than JGLS. We are trying in our best capacity. Why call your own brothers worse. It's not a sensible adjective. Afterall, a university isn't bricks, it's people and hating your peers is not how you are going to develop a good career. Also, you are short of data to determine to the direction of MNLU placements. MNLU has released NIRF report which includes data of placements. With only two years'data, you don't determine where the graph trend is going.
NIRF report doesn't include details of placements. Just median salary and number placed.
