If you cannot afford Jindal, then whether NLUO is a better option than it becomes a moot point. If you are getting through to NLUO, then I would recommend that you join there, work hard and smart, take advantage of the decent peer group, good moot culture, and hustle to score good internships with a focus on PPOs if you're interested in a corporate job, or other options if you want an alternative career. You will get most of those options if you're willing to learn from the seniors there. The place has got its problems like every other institution, but you won't be missing out on opportunities if you're ready and willing to grab those.

If you can finish in the top quarter of the nluo batch at the end of your degree then you are likely to get a placement. For JGLS it's more like top 10%

Extracurricular activities are easily available at Jindal not so much at nluo, although there are decent sports facilities available.

However, all these comparisons are moot if you cannot afford Jindal and have nluo as the only option.
