EY: 4 offers
It's good to see T1 firms giving offers to HNLU again, and even after considering the fact that hirings for the batch of 2023 were much stronger across the industry, there clearly seems to be a lot of efforts put in by their recruitment committee, and that should definitely be lauded.

Now that HNLU's revival actually looks possible, it may be worthwhile to remember that HNLU was never supposed to have a track record similar to the newer/"lower" NLUs. It was actually established around the same time as GNLU! And GNLU has run off with the other top NLUs to a massively better track record of placements, faculty, and reputation. Similarly, it was established just 5 years after Nalsar, and actually 5 years BEFORE NLUD, too!

Again, don't get me wrong - getting 40 something offers is a good revival for a college that has had an abysmal record off late, but I hope that people recognise that with a batch size of almost 170, this is just not where it should be.
