I mean I know that I love Zoya Akhtar. She appears really sensible in her interviews and her range is top-notch to say the least , starting from ‘Luck By Chance’. The problem that has been happening after COVID-19 plus the death of SSR is that a certain (very large I must say) section of audience feels pukish about the portrayal of rich kids and that too , if the portrayal is done by nepo kids. I genuinely agree on the nepo part. I mean there is this particular influencer in this film who appears so stupid in his own reels. Zoya could’ve taken other brilliant teen actors as well. I think aside vedang Raina , everyone is nepo. But I will still urge you to not pass any judgements because a film is after all a director’s media. And I have full faith on Zoya. The problem with our popular media and Chapri YouTube comment section is that they feel that Zoya’s direction will be corrupted by these nepo kids. That is so not and won’t be the case.
