I am a recent LLM graduate and will begin working at a research centre in India. The employees are mostly young and seem chill, and I have been addressing them by their names so far during calls. Should I address them as Sir/Ma'am, given that the research centre is part of a University? Also, any tips regarding work culture/expectations/performance from any of you who might have previously worked at a research centre?
