Exposure - it's a disputes team that is entirely focused on banking disputes. Around 80% of the work would focus on SARFAESI and RDB Act. It's a good place if you want to specialise in banking disputes since they have a very good name in DRT. Few good NCLT matters in Insolvency are present as well. Not much work in Arbitration and civil/commercial litigation before the Bombay High Court.
Work environment - it's an extremely rough work environment. There is a superficial nice environment where they would ask you not to address them as sir/ma'am and that's where it stops. It's a nightmare to work with them and that explains the heavy attrition rate. I left Mumbai after development mental health issues whilst my experience with them. I left the day i completed a year with them. The concerned junior partner and the founder partner is extremely rude and would throw the files at you and pass personal remarks for small typos and incidental errors that wouldn't have hurt even a mosquito.
Pay - they pay enough to survive in Mumbai. Not much but good compared to other Litigation chambers in Mumbai that pay peanuts.
Work was good. They had good high ticket matters in Insolvency and banking disputes. But the overall ragging and hostile work environment is a big mood dampener. Infact I shortened by internship with them. Wouldn't recommend the firm for a long term career option.
