I seriously believe that IAS is one dying industry and doing good to the rigid culture that has prevailed in India in yesteryears. The productivity churned by platoons of civil servants every year is very less compared to the contribution made by private sectors to the Economy.

For people who joined civil services for reasons others than social contribution are the ones plaguing the country at grassroot level.
