Hi I am a fresher at a Tier-1 NLU and I I have been seeing comments like “one needs contacts”. Do you still need contacts even after from Tier-1? Or you will be solely judged on the performance in internships , academics and publications?
Unfortunately yes. Although if you are from a T1 NLU, u kinda already have the upper hand of things but obviously, the competition is so high which means contacts can always help
