Hi, I have been told to read up on FEMA by my team before I join in August. I know I am not supposed to be an expert in the subject before I start my job, but I don't want to embarrass myself. Would anyone be kind to tell me what would be a good starting point for a complete beginner?

just go to the website and read up on the rules and regulations. Please always remember which of the countless rules and regulations are still in effect and which ones have been replaced/superseded.

Go through the FDI Policy and Press Notes issues afterwards, NDI Rules, OI Framework (Rules, Regulations, Directions), and reporting master directions.
