Hi, out of place comment, but I got into Ils recently, and am leaving it after the 1st sem for nliu bhopal bscllb. Was it a fair choice considering peers, academics and future placements?
People at any other law firm โฎโฎ. AZB drafts and reports are the โฎโฎโฎ โฎโฎโฎ and most โฎโฎโฎ documents on the planet. As someone who graduated from a "top 3", no one accepts AZB offers anymore unless they have no other options (always ranked dead last on day zero preference lists).
Currently working at SAM and the ratio is pretty evenly split between NLUs and non-NLUs, especially in Mumbai with GLC crowd. There is absolutely no difference between a hardworking NLU grad and a hardworking non-NLU grad after college. SAM has just been selectively hiring in the last few years (as opposed to the mass hiring by CAM, Trilegal and AZB of 80+ fresh graduates) and tends to hire only the top rankers (apart from usual connection hires) from either NLUs or non-NLUs, which may be why you perceive the quality to be better.
