Tatva values competence and reward it accordingly. The pay and bonus structure is designed to recognize and appreciate the skills and dedication of lawyers. Those who complain about the pay and bonus are often the very same individuals who lack the necessary competence and skill set.
- Work culture is good in the firm. You won't find toxic kind of partner or PA there.
- Compared to the teams of other law firms, workload in Tatva's litigation seems to be balanced.
- As an associate, you'll be reporting to multiple PAs and SAS because there is pooling system. And this pool system is not just for litigation, it's a cross-practice pool. Though in my experience, people usually never
ASAIFK Tatva Hyderabad disputes team is headed by a very senior person, who used to head JSA in Hyderabad for 15 years. 3 principal associates, 3 senior associates and 6 associates. They follow a pool system. One of their principal associates moved as partner to India law Bengalooru recently.
I am told that they take a lot of steps to provide a professional work culture and that their pay is based on competence and not seniority. However, you should check these yourself.
The other person is not here to defend himself and tell his side of the story.
You should speak to the two senior lawyers mentioned in the above post, or with any lawyer who is currently working with Tatva Hyderabad, to get an accurate picture, before you form a view based on the above malicious post.
Tatva’s current disputes team has more lawyers than the total number of lawyers in the other national law firms in Hyderabad. Tatva Hyderabad could not have grown to thrice the size of its competitor law firms if the above post is correct.
