There are lakhs and lakhs of expensive cars worth at least Rs 30 lakhs on India's streets + lakhs and lakhs of fancy apartments costing anywhere between Rs 2 crore to Rs 100 crore. And anyone earning Rs 1 lakh a month should have savings worth Rs 1.4 crore stashed away after 20-30 years. So the figure doesn't make sense at all.
Say "I've never stepped out of my posh South Delhi/ Bombay bubble and seen the economic disparity in India" without saying it?
Oh no! Poverty doesn't make sense to me!

Spend some time away from the cities, you will realise the 30L cars are not that common. Cars are not that common. Heck, roads are not that common.
1 percent of the current indian population

14080000

Gives you an idea of how concentrated wealth has become.
1) you cant walk around marine drive and say that everyone seems to have expensive cars and rich, 90 percent of the population is living paycheck to paycheck

2) kala dhan- obviously
