Rajiv Luthra no more. What will happen to luthra and luthra law offices?

Will they get merged with Saraf?
Woke up to this sad news. What's the future of Luthra & Luthra now? How did this suddenly happen? Stress of Saraf and others leaving could play a role?
He didnt leave. He led a rebellion. RKL had treated him like a younger brother and it was a gross betrayal
When the one you trust stabs you in the back, no matter how much you say, it shatters you. I really feel sorry for RKL. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ
Now that Rajiv Luthra has passed away, what will happen to the rest of the Firm? With the split away of the Saraf coterie and the litigation partners having left for DSK, the remaining partners are lightweights who were dependent on Mr Luthra's goodwill and client relationships. What will come of that now? I predict an exodus at the Managing Associate and Salaried Partner levels, as well as junior associates who will head to SCAM/TL/KCO.

My prediction, the Luthra firm will wind up within months.
Looks like a comment put up by someone completely unaware of how law firms work on the ground. Devoid of fact and logic. Luthra and Luthra is doing well and will continue to do well. Ofc Rajiv Luthra will be missed Im sure - but the structures he's built, the relationships he's built they will stand the test of time. The people working at the firm are still experienced professionals, please remember that even though some people left for Saraf and partners, a MAJORITY stayed back and more have been added to replace those who've left, from the top firms and best colleges. There's an able executive committee in place (as is the case in Teilegal and JSA for example) and has done a fantastic job running the firm even while Rajiv Luthra was in hospital. Don't worry about the firm winding up, it's doing well and it's only going to do better
The probability of that happening is the same as that of Jayalilitha becoming prime minister. Please stay away from all kinds of betting and gambling activities, even if you happen to be in Kerela or Sikkim. A penny saved is a penny earned.
RIP Mr. Rajiv Luthra.

How would succession at the firm be handled? How would the demise of RKL affect the firm in the long run? Client / Revenue? What impact would it have on Associates and Pay Scales?
Pay scales will not be affected - the firm will continue as before. Though RKLs presence will be missed, the end result is the same as a retirement - There's an experienced executive committee in charge and they've doing a phenomenal job last couple of months from all accounts
RIP Mr. Luthra

Since the partition of the firm, all partners who have had books have one after the other left the firm. What remains of Luthra and Luthra now is a bunch of coterie and sycophants. None of the partners have the weight to pull things. The people in management are folks who neither have the will nor the wherewithal to shake up the already sinking set up. They were busy narrating falsehood. They are simply put โ€˜YES manโ€™, who do not have the interest of young professionals in their mind. I feel for the young professionals working with Luthra.
Please do not waste your time worrying about the young professionals. Genuine advice - I would concern myself with โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ in the well meaning essay you've put up. The firm was going through a transition post split which was further exacerbated by Mr. Luthra's ill health over the last few months. The senior management did an excellent job in the interim. The new command and control structure will be formalized over the next weeks. That's the only silver lining in RKL's sad demise as far as the firm's affairs are concerned - an end to a brief period of uncertainty and impermanence.
The young professionals working in the firm are very happy. No need to feel thnx
WTH! RKL's nephew made partner in Luthra and Luthra. According to LinkedIn, he is a 2021 paas our from JGLS and joined the firm just a few months back. What's happening with Luthra?

On a side note, big win for JGLS
He Graduated in 2020 from JGU, did a 3year LLB. He is actually around 29 years of age but has 1.5 years of legal experience, so.............................
Just go to the L & L website, 'Our Partners' section and search Luthra. You will find him, you can see the rest on LinkedIn.
At the prayer ceremony, the said nephew of Rkl (law grad of 2021) was announced as "will take the legacy forward". Prayer ceremony started with lighting of lamp by said nephew, and all partners of the firm were asked to "join him on stage and stay behind him".
No one deserves to be a partner having worked 4 months under a Senior and 1 year in a law firm.....
