At least in the IP team, Khaitan pays peanuts compared to Trilegal. Above and beyond that, you will be pigeon-holed in Khaitan IP team and do 40% admin work as well.
Information on this platform is never accurate. People just don't quote actually accurate figures. How difficult is it for someone to anonymously quote their base pay and the name of the firm? It can help troubled final-year students make informed decisions. Please guys - stop this dick-measuring contest.
Just use this platform for what its true purpose is - dissemination of information. You can always create separate threads to fight. Don't quote inaccurate salaries and please don't refute salaries that are actually accurate.
Seems to be coming from someone who happens to be PA or a partner and having a great penchant for toxicity. Dude, just have a look at the dark circles of partners and people in AZB, iykyk. Also, this is not to say that others are not bad but the thing is AZB is worst among all. Further, from the batch of 22 and 23, no one took AZB on Day Z due to their pathetic culture.
Trilegal pays a lot higher. The fixed at Trilegal is a lot higher than Khaitan. Khaitan bonus percentage is higher. However that depends on your BD, sessions, articles, etc etc rather than pure work as at Trilegal. Also off late Khaitan had been firing associates or creating an adverse work atmosphere towards associates that they quit. That doesn't happen at Trilegal! So choose wisely that you aren't made to quit or are fired.
They look at your work abilities. Nobody wants to waste so many resources on an absolute doofus unless its a really huge client retained for a long time, or the MP's son/ daughter
I understand that client's references help to an extent, but at least while considering PPOs all (most) firms look at work during internships, ability in internships, speaking skills. Here you need the team (Associates, the Mentor (SA/PA), Partner at some places) you worked for, to give you good(Khaitan,CAM, SAM etc.)/ Stellar(JSA, Trilegal) feedback.
Doesn't matter what Trilegal pays, its just not a good enough firm to slave off your life. And their recent partner hitings has turned the firm into war turf and the worst affected are the junior associates and employees tugged-of-war in the stupid old vs new partner fights...
Don't know whether they have adopted differential payment methods for other colleges, but at NLS it's SnR>Tri>Cam (there being definitive bonus)>SAM (which is lesser even post including the bonus)> KCO>Indus-Saraf-L&L-TTA
Not discussed AZB because NLS finds it too respectable to work with, obviously due to the prestigious goodwill they have earned through their work culture among their junior rung associates.
S&R>Trilegal>AZB>KCO>JSA>SAM>CAM>IndusLaw>Saraf/L&L/TT&A. As far as pay is concerned, this is the correct order (Note: JSA people make much more as compared to other firms since their bill sharing policy is like no other). Believe this ranking or not, this is the truth.
They pay more, not better....Comparatively Khaitan pay may be askightly less if at all but the work environment at Khaitan is ten times better than at Trilegal......wors on tge street is Trilegal has now become worse than CAM also
5 pqe - 45
6 pqe - 50
7 pqe - 55-60
No idea above that

yes, Trilegal and CAM have absolute respectable work cultures and spaces
