Hi all. ex T-1 A-2 here. Hated my life. started from scratch and built a Youtube channel over the past two years. Also taking up freelance video editing gigs on the side. I work 10 hrs per day 6 days a week and sometimes even Sunday because I feel grateful that I don't have another fake deadline to meet so that kind of pumps me up. I am making just as much as an A3 at a T-1 plus I've got plenty of time to socialise, exercise, work from where ever I want. I don't know the upper limit to my career but even if I make half or 75% or what I would make at a T-1, I'd be really happy. Quitting the law has been so liberating and refreshing (#taaza holeeee). so im just here to motivate people who might be contemplating such a pivot. there's hope guys there's hope but let me know what you feel about my life. am i a loser in your eyes? honestly idc but Id love to know what you all think of this
You are already working 60+ hours a week, isn't that similar to what a law firm associate works? Yeah, you do have the luxury of working from wherever you want but law firms will offer you greater growth opportunities to counter that.

I don't think that there is much of a difference unless you have a passion for video editing and absolutely hate law firm jobs + going the freelance way comes with certain risks of failing.
It is odd that after living your dream, you are seeking validation on this forum. No one who is truly happy will waste their time on foolish pompous posts such as yours. To answer your point, no one who is a true advocate will ever think you are a loser, since you are clearly totally unsuited for the profession. We are both living our respective dreams :)
It’s not for you. I bet this guy is that nluj alumni with the CLAT prep tutorial channel. Other segments like music, gaming, travel and comedy are super competitive and require a lot of things working in your favour. I highly doubt he’ll be able to β€˜make it’ there. This also explains why he researches and works 10 hours per day for content. This amount of time devotion is barely required in other segments where guys can get away with uploading 1-2 times every month (eg. fitz - gaming, Jamie Harrison - guitar covers).
Working 10 hours a day 7*7, and still having plenty of time to socialize and workout. You must be having 40 hour days' for sure. Either a hyperbole or an outright lie.
subah 9 baje se shaam ko 7 baje tak - 10 hours

7pm - 1am - socialise/exercise

isme kya nahi sach lag raha tereko
Good for you bro..but what's the real reason that you're here? Motivating people or seeking validation?
It’s never the amount of hours work or the money you get. Ultimately, it is - do you feel in control

of your life and satisfaction in your work.

Cheers to the dreamers and artists who won’t stop dreaming in the face of all odds.
Ya but what when your peers become PAs and beyond and are making real bank
