No. People don’t have to bear with you because you’re experiencing emotions. Regulate emotions. We’ve all been there . We have all had to deal with competition - most of us still are in the work place. It’s one thing to ask seniors in your college. But really the “ I’m older than 17” posts on here are too many. Or “ oh I just cleared clat how do I intern at law firm” come on! Think about it for one second - what skills do you have that any law firm would value at that point ? Like no one ever took a drop year before or no one was a first year before you. It requires trolling. Y’all have these insecurities - nothing other folks on LI say can solve them. We aren’t your parents or therapists. Regulate your own emotions instead of expecting the world to cater to you karen.

And go talk to people in the real world. Posting on here is the laziest way to seek advice and you’ll never get good advice neither - it’s an anonymous forum.

It doesn't make a difference, trust me. I have batchmates who have spent 1 or 2 years in other law schools, have interned, and have written articles but now after almost a year in NLS, I don't find any difference between them and me (fresher). This experience is uniform in almost all NLUs. So, just chill out, have fun. After u spend a couple of months in law school, you yourself will realize that these internships or articles don't make any sense and you will probably exclude them from your CV.

To those trolling batch of 2028/2029 - one has to understand that some people here took single/multiple drops to enter a Tier-1 law school. They have worked hard and are of course trying to compensate for the years went for preparing. That is why people are asking for internships , requiring about publications. You can see a lot of jus corpus publications. I know once people make into a tier-1 , these questions or drop years don’t matter , what matters is our performance , but still asking can’t really be considered illogical . Kindly bear with it. Even for people who are just out of school , they are nervous with the increasing competition . That’s why here also one can find a lot of publications and journals in their Linkedin profiles. NLSIU has increased its batch strength and we keep hearing how in Nalsar/NUJS/NLU-D the competition keeps on increasing at a breakneck speed. We are confused but at the same time want to be ahead of our competition - be it within batch or within law school. And if we(both the categories I mentioned) don’t ask our seniors aka you guys , then this forum won’t be helpful . Thank you ❤️
