Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
At my first job the boss used to write dates in "Dd.mm.yyyy" format everywhere and wanted it to be uniform in all drafts (fair enough). This boss was also fussy about adding "Mr." and "Ms." before the names of each recipient of a Legal Notice (seriously - this is not the norm at all !).
At my second job the Firm used "7th April 2023" format of dates and insisted on it being a uniform thing in all drafts (again, fair enough). Only that I took nearly a month to unlearn the muscle memory of the previous format and in that 1 month the Partner got pissed whenever I messed up the date format.
At my current job the Firm uses "Dd/mm/yyyy" format and again insists on it being uniform in all drafts.
Why can't all Indian lawyers and law firms use one uniform format for Dates throughout the country ? Why does each firm or partner come up with their own format and treats it as gospel ! What new change should I expect at my next job ? !
Ideally the SC should prescribe a uniform date format to be used by all firms in all pleadings filed in all forums !
