hello! I'll be going in new to nalsar this year and have quite some time on my hands, now I keep wondering how good or bad it might be there. I heard there are possibly a whole bunch of stereotypes, issues and whatnot that comes as a package with every college but still thought it'd be nice if someone who's already been there for a while could advise me on anything to look out for or keep in mind? I'd love to get a few casual tips to remember on my first day maybe? :)
My first tip is that your first set of friends will rarely be your best friends, so chill. You will develop your best friends over time.

My second tip is that you should steer clear of cultures wars and politics. If you are politically conservative then you will be in a tiny minority, so keep quiet.
1. Completely true, my online "friends" turned out shockingly to be toxic bitches when I came here. Still searching for others :(

2. Nope, nobody gives a f
okay that kind of(?) makes me feel better too cause I don't know a single person from my batch yet. Was genuinely counting on my first day to make friends but then got a little worried thinking of possibly ending up a loner since literally everyone(very literally) else is already in some group I left 5 minutes after I joined :') I just want to find atleast one nice and sane person to be friends with, and hopefully a normal, non toxic and chill roommate too cause I can't imagine dealing w anything else for 5 years.
hey, NALSAR too, haven't socialised much either.

more of our kind exists, dw too much
Roomate is only for 3 yrs, baaki u don't have to be friends with ur roomate, don't make close friends tho... backbiters most of them 👀
If a girl is posting: stay the hell away from creepy predator senior boys offering you help with projects, moots etc.

If a guy is posting: actually, best to keep a safe distance from senior guys too.
thanks for this cause I was especially worried about that haha. I think someone made a group already around 2 months ago, I did join for like 5 minutes but... let's just say there were a LOT of messages, so much spamming, so I thought hey, there's a long time for college to start this probably wont make me a loner then, ..but I started having second thoughts now :)
Be nice to the staff, always. Kitchen, admin, guards, everyone. Don't let your insecurities hijack you. Be pleasant, be curious. You're going to live there for 5 years. They will go by more easily if you learn to chill out and get on with people. Also someone or the other will eventually hate on you if you do get on with people. Ignore them and do you.
Avoid mean girls

Avoid bros

Avoid druggies

Avoid wokes

Befriend kind hearted girls

Befriend helpful, humble guys

Befriend guys who eat and live healthy

Befriend guys and girls who respect all views
Wow, love the classification, those sociology classes didn't really change ur mindset huh
So that the girl you sneak in does not have a hard time having some "fun time" with you?
LMAO, true. Do NOT be the King. Will prolly get arrested later in life if you do try. Won't have an admin tussle going on to save you from fines and other stuff.
What does Nalsar king mean and what's Nalsar's hierarchy? Please elaborate
NALSAR's ▮▮▮ is a ▮▮▮ graduated in year ▮▮▮ accused of vandalism, ragging, and so many other horrible things not to be mentioned here.
This is how 5 years in NALSAR is spent:

1st year: Random sex and hook ups in first half of the year, committed relationship in second half

2nd year: Break up in first half, focus on studies and moots in second half

3rd year: Continuing focus on studies and moots in first half, budding relationship in second half

4th year: Juggling studies and relationship in both first and second half, no more moots

5th:Job secured, cheating and random sex in first half; back to committed relationship in second half
Where exactly do people have sex? In hostel rooms? How do they sneak in? The roomate?
