Want to understand the difference b/w first year partner’s salary at JSA from other tier 1 firms. I believe that standard is 80-85 lakhs at other firms.

It's north of 1Cr for T1 firms. Not sure about JSA tho

42 LPA (fixed) + 10% bill sharing.

This is what I know for a new partner. Please do give correct / better info if someone has:

Monthly - 3.5 X 12 = 42 lacs

+ Bill share - 12% of what ever you bill. Lets say you bill 2 cr in a decent year = 24 lacs

+ Annual bonus - 14 lacs (this one I am not sure about and am 2nd guessing)

Total 42 + [24] + 14 = 80 lacs

Can go up and down depending on the team/ actual billings and recovery.

If this is the case, it seems to be much lesser than their peers at other tier 1 firms.

Can you pleae tell the numbers for other firms, for a new partner? Firms with numbers higher than above (JSA). Ball park will do. I have heard its 95 lacs in IndusLaw, not sure if its correct though.
