[This] valid question was put forward few weeks back in LI regarding skipping a year in NLUs due to academic excellence (just like some US unis) - any answer to this ? Seems like some NLUs can imply this rule for toppers
You can’t” skip” a year. University isn’t school and the subjects were teaching year to year are distinct and only somewhat related. They’re not usually sequential. If you’re doing calculus and you have prior knowledge you can take a test to show that you belong in calc 301 instead of calc 101.
But if you did very well in contracts that doesn’t mean you know consti law.
You’ll need a number of credits to graduate also.
Having said that- I did know one person who took so many extra credits in his fourth year that his fifth year was basically free. The university didn’t have rules for finishing early- but he spent the time interning.
