Does ELP have a lot of litigation work? Haven’t seen them much in Court.

You forgot LKS. They are the biggest for IDT in Bombay. DT not so much. Pay is 9L pa for a fresh I believe

Absolutely the wrong time to choose IDT as a career stream now. With VAT, service tax, and excise merged into one and much-simplified laws, revenue leakage has largely been plugged in, and the number of disputes has drastically decreased. So better choose some other stream as practice.

Can anyone share recommendation regarding leading, good Direct Tax practice both from firm perspective as well as Litigator? Also suggestions based from Delhi, Mumbai and Bnaglore would be much appreciated.
