Lets begin with the Director himself, he never used to take lecture or any academic engagements due to his outing wonder lust preference in the name of Silvasa Campus and GMU bindings. Registrar I/c. is himself keep on skipping lecture in absence of deep knowledge of subjects, other faculties are overrated as you can visit their linkedin profile you can get to know that how inorganically they grow in the GNLU. In nutshell, all faculties are pile of with one or other administrative work here and there is no strict time table following for Academics.... So if you are khatro ke khiladi ...aaja and join us at Hostel Party.
Its a mixed bag. Some are pretty good. RK Singh, William Nunes, Garima, Harsha, Niyati etc are all good. Most of the other faculty members are okayish (Not bad not good). and some other faculty members are bad.
Most faculty leave much to desire in the way of academics. You'll find the Constitutional Law faculty paying far more attention to Part I than to Part III. A senior faculty member infamously plagiarising from LegalServicesIndia and iPleaders. The list goes on. This isn't to say that all is bad. You'll also get some stellar faculty members, especially if you opt for the BA stream. Scoring marks is fairly simple, overall, barring three professors who anyway won't mark well.
There's little faculty involvement in the hostels, with the wardens handling their day-to-day functioning. However, for any changes or accommodations, the faculty members incharge are fairly quick to act. This, of course, depends on the reasonability and ease of implementing such change/accommodation. You'll also see them if you ever have the misfortune of being caught with prohibited materials in your room. The mess committee faculty members are by far the most responsive, where you could even see requests being acted upon during the meals themselves. There have been a few mishaps, but I choose to blame that on running an operation this size. Sports see heavy faculty involvement all throughout the year and they're some of the most approachable people on campus. Mostly reasonable people.
