Follow blogs like IndiaCorpLaw. Also, follow news on the topics, read a business newspaper every day, also follow websites like "private equity insights". GC isn't my niche so I only know about a few good websites. A general corp lawyer would be able to help you with what you need to read and what are those grey areas.
Workshops etc, good law schools often conduct workshops by professionals. Look out for them. It will be tough to find these in Lucknow but you will find plenty of them happening in Delhi.
Also, look at the Assistant public prosecutor exams. These are not that tough to clear. At least much easier than UPSC
Judiciary: Open to law grads only. The best students don't even prepare for the exam. How many students from tier 1 NLU apply for it?
