If i am referring to an article from a website in my article/blog/paper and I'm putting the citation in the footnotes, do i need to paraphrase the paragraph or can i simply just copy paste the paragraph? Will it count as plagiarism?
It’s plagiarism, you should paraphrase and mention in text- not just in a foot note. Who did that analysis.
Do you mean you should use quote marks or indent it clearly to signify it as a quote in the text? If you do so, together with a footnote at the end of the quote, it is surely not plagiarism right?
Yes, not plagiarism but not original either if this is a question about things you're submitting as a part of coursework.
