There were one phone-stealer in my law school (boy thief) and one in my brother's law school (girl thief). Both sold them in the grey market. Both caught later on in the hostel and handed over to warden. Both gave some sob story about mental health and kleptomania and let off with a warning. 🙄 Complete BS because the thief in my law school is from a super-rich family and did the thefts just for a laugh and smoked weed with the money. 😡
The VC MP Singh (simple man that he was) got fooled by his tears and let him off with a light punishment.
