BCI has embarked one new institution IIULER in Goa to provide quality international standard legal education. Was there really a need to create one when we have number of NLUs not being funded? How it would compete with JGLS?
BCI won't recognize quality legal education if it comes and dances before them wearing a tea-cosy!
Then they wouldn't have started with charging stupendous fees that will keep most of the merit away and at the same time, offer only public university salary that would again keep most of the merit away.
Who said NLUs don't come in QS rankings? NLSIU does!
No, only Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore comes within below 500 ranks in QS World Rankings and Times Higher Education (THE) Ranking
A tier 4 law college is always better. Anyways nobody is gonna make any money.
I am unsure as to who is funding this uni, can someone please shed some light on this, I am sure it is not BCI
It's BCI Trust - PEARL FIRST. Actually, BCI Trust - PEARL FIRST is an independent body and is not a part of the Bar Council of India (as indicated in the official notification of 2022 by BCI - Requirements for IIULER Goa) - It's available in BCI Website
