I'm an A0 5 months into work

Though I'm putting in a lot of effort, time and passion into my work, it doesn't seem to translate to results. My team is very accommodating and understanding, but no matter what I do, I seem to keep making mistakes

I'm afraid my probation may be extended or I may be fired

Any helpful tips on how to improve myself would be appreciated

First of all, congratulations on getting into a T1. This fear is totally understandable. I would say focus on the basics like get your formatting perfect, and focus on giving your best in all the tasks given to you. Mistakes will happen, but a firm interested in your growth will not dump you unceremoniously. And if they do, it was never a place worth working at and losing sleep over.

Probation? Can someone explain, is AO still just probation?

Yes. A0's usually have a 6 month probation period. It is only after that do they get confirmed.

Make a checklist of things that you are supposed to do.

Don't leave things to memory.

This will help you in avoiding mistakes.
