But layoffs are happening even in biglaw America and magiclaw London firms, and hiring frozen this year and probably more years to come. This could very well come to India soon, and im sure the likes of some Lala firms won't hesitate in reducing costs..
These layoffs could be an effect of hiring people at ridiculous salaries.
Please think rationally and put aside your bleeding liberal hearts. China is committing far worse atrocities. So why punish Russia and not them?
Kids from law schools where they have actually had -100% placements might still be fine- but I wouldn’t take a job for granted whatever school I went to.
Half of the batch is spoilt and do not value what they have or acknowledge their privilege. They do not understand what it takes for someone from a more simple background to reach where they are without a second thought. It isn't right to group every Jindal student in the same category since there are plenty of hardworking students whose families without much contacts are doing everything to pay their fees.
Same fears existed when Covid hit. It was followed by hiring in record numbers.
