The question is pretty simple- how do I build a career around white collar crime? Specifically, how do I get placed in a tier 1 or 2 firm in their white collar crime/internal investigations team? I am a second year law student in a tier 2 NLU.
Would really appreciate some real detailed guidance.
Thank you so much, in advance!
The pay is much lower than corporate teams
If you want exp for litigation later on, going for litigation directly may be more useful. If you want to have a corpus before you jump into litigation consider corporate because the pay including bonus will be much higher as to what you get for a disputes team. Tier 1 disputes A0 salaries were as low as 8 lacs.
Two untrue statements: 1. Pay being lower than corp teams and 2. Tier 1 disputes salary being as low as 8 lacs. Nowhere close to what big law pays disputes A0s.
