It was a fight over promotions. He asked for his Team member (in Litigation) to be promoted and in response he was told that the candidate will be interviewed, by non-lit people (non-lawyers too.). He resisted and said those people do not know the candidate and also do not know anything about litigation.
He was told this is the way (not Mandalorian style) and that he could take it or leave it.
He quit.
