Again, if it's been in use interchangeably for the last few decades (as evident from mixed usage in multiple orders), how is "judgement" wrong?
To think that an interchangeable spelling is a fundamental of law!
Okay, but all this does is show that the two are interchangeable, not that judgement is the proper way to spell it (not the only way).

I do not know what kind of leading dictionaries you are looking at to arrive at that conclusion, but the Oxford English Dictionary, which is perhaps the most authoritative (even for American English) says otherwise. Please see my comment 11.1.2.A.1.
Thank you for your gem of a comment - never realised I had to provide a credible source for such a basic fundamental of law, but now I have indeed. Check comment 11.1.2.A.1.
There is a bit of a logical jump involved in this argument. Just because the Constitution or the CPC uses a particular spelling, that does not render an exclusive meaning to that spelling.
Their "post conviction bail" was set aside by the SC though. It was a shameful order, rasing several questions over the character of the victim instead.
Please cite a credible source in support of your gem of a linguistic analysis.
Hello bhai,

Itna guh likhne se pehle koi bhi ek high Court ya Supreme Court ka actual order copy (including present case) dekh lete to itna teetar nahi ban rahe hote tum. See what HCs and SCs use unless Fowler ya Safire tunhaare sage maama lagte ho. Cheers!
I read the judgement. The language used by Hardik Sikri in the WhatsApp. Conversations is just disgusting.🤮🤮 🤮 Enjoy prison [...]
Kaash tumlog mein se koi "judgment" sahi likh paata
Also accused vs imprisonment upheld by the HC.
Can anyone please send the trial court order?

Go sit on the Supreme Court, then decide on appeals
The senior counsel for the appellants relied heavily on... wait for it... Tukaram! WTF?

You'd have a better chance citing ADM Jabalpur to a constitution bench and succeeding
How does chat create any reasonable doubt? In fact, if you see the chats, they are all against the convicts. Clearly shows the blackmail. FFS, have you even read the trial court judgement?
Trial court had convicted them. I don't remember seeing any character assassination in there (that was in the suspension of sentence order). I could be wrong, it was years ago.
Tujhe smell aagayi nA Ki devil’s advocate Ki kami hai iss thread pe, lmao predictable
the Supreme Court will surely reverse this judgement, there is pretty much reasonable doubt looking at the WhatsApp chats, pehle bhi inko post conviction bail mila the by the same court , jitna bhi heinous charge ho, you can't convict on the basis of emotions
Apart from what 2 said, I think the moderator should take note of the click-baity heading. I am not from Jindal myself, but still find the term "Jindal rapists" as used here quite objectionable.
Could you kindly post a link to the judgement? Thanks in advance.
(Yes I know it can be found on the website but not very familiar with the P&H HC Website)
I think most people here can confirm that a university entrance exam is not an indicator of whether a person is a rapist or not. Get over yourself.
