I am not sure how much exactly Cyril Shroff donated to Oxford. He does not seem to have mentioned the sum in the press release. But below are some figures from lawyers abroad below. All links at the end to make reading easier. It's very interesting that some of the law schools are ranked pretty low , some of the donors preferred to stay anonymous, some of the donors donated via their will, and some of the donors are professors.

Kudos to your efforts but it seems to be an inconclusive one. If you're not sure about Cyril Shroff's donations then how are you even comparing it with others?
If it would've been a list of Indian donars to Indian law schools [if it even exists XD] then it would've made sense.
I reckon none of us even know who these fine gentlemen are!
Although, it was pretty insightful to see professors and judges donating in millions of USD, it could never happen in India.
Na na, it seemed like a click bait that's why. I even tried not to be a troll about it :(
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas PR team knows how much Cyril Shroff "donated"?At last others made their contributions clearly known and were not publicity hounds
Wait, so no big donations to Harvard Law or NYU, the two richest law schools on the planet (NYU even more so)?
Both law schools are sitting on such large endowments. They are in no need for more money.
Same for Oxford. But Harvard and NYU would probably refuse the "scholarahip", not Oxford. This one of those PR scams of CAM appearing all benevolent, give it few days and the PR will stand exposed for the real going-ons...
"Hi, you looted our country, abrogated our rights, and continue to treat us like a particular type of unwashed commoner; My name is Cyrill Shroff, and I'd like to give you some money to say "thanks."
Are you sure?I think you mean Rs 011,not 101?or did you mean that he TOOK rs 101....ha ha ha.

What Cyril should donate : USD 30 million at least

What Cyril will donate: Most likely Rs 1 to 2 crores.
Has he donated even that much ..1/2 crores?I dont believe. He may have donated just 10 lakh, maybe just 1 lakh and he will take 10 crores worth of publicity.I am also pretty sure he will make the "donation" or scholarship receiver sign some sort of bond and be slave of his firm forever.Pretty soon given the attrition at CAM they are going to start the bond system and very soon Cyril Shroff will start making interest income on slave-bond deposits of his slaves/employees.
[...] During the pandemic he cut peoples salaries people's business uncertainties making people work doubly hard. Meanwhile he was out shopping for a bigger house in worli
Just imagine, the man who was in a major fight with his brother over division of assets as per his mother's will who cut him out from the will and he would not "give" up insisting on getting equal hold of the firm which his mothers will doesn't allow,he "gives" donation.....it maybe only one rupee donation still its breaking news....come on,see the new "giving " nature of the same person.what transformation, sure deserves lots of PR.......now only if he would be willing to "give" WFH as was promised.....
Idiotic trolls commenting in this thread do not seem to know what the Cyril Shroff Graduate scholarship at Somerville College, Oxford University entails. Here it is:

The scholarship covers course fees and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the duration of fee liability for the course.
