It is headlines everywhere that the new CEO of Starbucks is an Indian. Various media outlets have produced a long list of big American companies with Indian CEOs. In the list byTOI I counted 21 names.

But all these people seem to be grads of IITs and occasionally other engineering colleges. Why are NLU grads missing out? Even in India they are not becoming CEOs. Why is this?

One argument can be made that all these guys went to the US after their BTech and did an MBA. But there must be at least 30 NLU grads who did an MBA from abroad or from IIM/ISB in India. Why are none of them big CEOs today? How come not a single CEO who graduated from NLSIU, which is considered to be the Harvard of the East?
:((( so sad. Next up why aren't NLU grads running NASA. Why aren't NLU grads President of yet?? Why aren't NLU kids Chief Justice of US?? NLU kids have been discriminated everywhere!!! MAKE NLUs greatest as they have the best minds of world!
Big companies want an MBA before CEO. So most a lawyer can be is head of legal department.
Lawyers can do a much better job running companies than engineers. But sadly company owners are toxic bros who are biased against lawyers. Look at Elon Musk and how he went after Vijaya Gadde, who tried to make Twitter more inclusive and cancelled Trump. Also, the Ambani/Adani types have no respect for law and thus no respect for lawyers.
Because a CE0's work is to manage a company. It requires management skills not legal
Cause they can't even run a law firm properly, what will they run a big business.
