3 Students from NUJS Kolkata qualified Rajasthan Judicial service Exam 2022. These students are truely fulfilling Menon's idea of strengthening the Bar and the Bench.
Good for them. But does entry of NLU kid in judiciary means we have got eminent judges?? How are they strengthening Judiciary by just getting in coz they are from an NLU
Nluo had 3 students in latest mp judiciary list. They never made a thread. I think in the end it boils down to who's good at selling
Also, why is the moderator allowing blatantly casteist statements by people against people who are beneficiaries of the reservation policies? I'm sure we can except atleast a certain level of academic and healthy discourse related moderation from LI.
Uncle, aapse engage nahi karenge. Chalo ab jao, aapko kisi economically/socially under-priviliged ko oppress bhi karna hoga, Aap lago apne kaam pe.
What a dumb post! UPSC is the real deal, not state judicial services. The present NUJS generation is doing miserably in that.
UPSC atleast needs some brain. judicial exams conducted by High Courts are laughable !
Hey, Moderator, please either don't allow or censor the blatantly casteist comments against the students who are beneficiaries of legally set out affirmative action policies. I'm sure people can educate themselves enough.
Alex Saha of NUJS , an exceptional student with remarkable achievement and also a batch topper , recently ditched tier 1 law firm because he don't want to do monotonous law firm work . Prepared for exam and secured Rank 1 in WB Judicial service
This is sad. If Mr Saha feels that the firm life is unfulfilling (which is fair), he should have practised in the Cal HC and then get elevated to the bench like Justice Saraf. Why waste away years in the mofussil courts as a JMFC and whatnot.
We need good judges in the lower courts, perhaps more of the NLU students should consider this, given that the intent was to strengthen the judiciary
If you are referring to 6.1, I disliked it myself, but couldn't find any casteist overtone in it. Condescending and completely devoid of sensitivity, yes.
Please discuss / rebut / counter the points / arguments made by OP rather than attacking the OP with ad hominem / personal insults and posts will be published.
Also, very recently, around 16 judicial officers from the lower courts were elevated to the High Court's of Punjab-Haryana and Bombay.
