Very interesting to hear you say that. Being an EP now, do you think it's possible/sustainable to run your team whilst being empathetic? Anything that you wish more EPs/Partners would do?
Transaction lawyers like you are who disputes lawyers have to thank for the stream of good work that keeps coming. Would be a pleasure arguing which version determines the parties' obligations/rights.
This is just ignorance / stupidity, not a mistake. Both are different (not that this is forgivable)
Sent a section 21 notice to the opposite party with signatures, while it had to be sent to the client for confirmation on its contents.

Quite a day after the boss found out!
There is only one mistake which is a true unreversible fuck up and yours truly did it - ACCIDENTALLY SHREDDED A WILL.
That's not a bad fuck up by any standard, and definitely not by the standards set by other comments on here.

Also, a research note on costs for the consumer forum? That's the real amusement.
Got fired for a mistake and sat out for a few months before joining another ill-reputed firm. The fact that you're a T1 partner gives me a lot of courage in my time of stress.
This is really not an acceptable way of dealing with this issue. I feel like an oldie, but you should have come clean (maybe lied about how the clauses got deleted) and got the documents re-signed.
this honestly sounds insane. You got really lucky, most of our bosses would've given us the humiliation of our lives
So now you just need to worry about the fact that somewhere down the line, someone would actually look at the docusign executed version and hell would break loose and rain on you that day, especially if the promoters legal team realised it first and remained quiet.
Need stories from corporate lawyers especially as A0 and A1s
Missed a court hearing date a couple of times in the same matter in a span of 5-6 months. Thankfully, nothing substantial happened on both those dates. Regardless, it was a major fuck up and was told off a bit but everyone was super chill about it.
Litigation message ups don't count. Tell me corp message ups
Did not file WS in commercial suit within 120 days of the summons. As per the 2015 Act, you cannot file it thereafter. Still managed to get it filed. Proves the old adage of the profession - there is no fuckup bad enough that cannot be fixed.
got yelled at. and then things were back to normal. happens almost every week.
